January 1st, 2007 by 6th Floor Blog in Uncategorized

The All-Star Game Drinking Game Yankee Stadium Edition

Separate into two teams, National League and American League. If you can’t decide, the older drinkers are the National League and the younger ones are the junior circuit.

Team Rules

One sip for every time a new player enters the game.

One sip every time your team gets an out.

Two sips for every nice catch. (Multiple replays)

Two sips if your pitcher tops 100mph on the radar gun.

Two sips if your pitcher doesn’t reach 60mph on the radar gun.

One sip when your pitcher throws to a base instead of pitching. Double the amount of sips if he throws over twice in a row. Keep doubling per throw until the pitcher throws home.

One sip every time a batter on your team walks.

One sip for each pitch above six a batter on your team sees in at-bat.

One sip if a batter on your team gets hit. Two more sips if it’s bigger than a single. Take a shot if it’s a grand slam.

One sip for every opposing player’s error.

One sip when your team steals a base. Five sips if it’s home plate.

Universal Yankee Stadium Rules

One sip for every clip of a past All-Star Game. Two if it’s a Yankee Stadium All-Star Game.

One sip for every mention of Babe Ruth.

One sip for every shot of the new Yankee Stadium.

One sip for a reference to any of the Yankees on the 1977 All-Star Team. (Goose Gossage, Thurman Munson, Reggie Jackson, Sparky Lyle, Graig Nettles and Willie Randolph)

One sip for every reference of 26 World Championships.

Three sips for a mention of a Mets player other than David Wright or Billy Wagner.

Three sips for a mention of Shea Stadium.

Three sips for a mention of Citi Field.

One sip for every shot of Monument Park.

One sip for every mention of Joe Morgan, two sips if they show a clip of his home run in the 1977 All-Star Game.
