does part of being unplugged include not updating since january? haha ;)

I hear you about feed readers. Mine is currently showing well over 10,000 unread posts.

(>_>);; so tempting to just hit "mark all as read" but then, what's the point?

lol

I like the unplugged idea. With work, I'm not sure I could do it, though. Sorry about the meatloaf--never something I would order, personally.

Yeah, I've never heard of this holiday either, but it sounds like one I could get on board with :)

Once I went to this Japanese bar/restaurant called "Kaizoku no Daidokoro" which translates as "Pirate's Kitchen."

Naturally, I expected something piratey. I mean, it even had a skull and crossbones in the logo!

So I got this whole group of people together, we were all set for this piratey dinner, roll inside and....

it's just a regular restaurant. Nothing remotely piratey about it. I looked like such a dumbass too, because I had convinced everyone of what an awesome night it was going to be - most of them didn't speak Japanese either so they wouldn't believe me when I told them that in fact, the sign said "Pirate's Kitchen" in Japanese. They just thought I made shit up.

*sigh*

And that was my pirate-bar-themed story :)

I love zombie movies and can't wait to see this one. I wish it didn't take so long for movies to come out here though. :(

True. But ideally you reach a point where it's more maintenance and not a 'resolution' so much.
