{"id":824,"date":"2010-09-09T09:01:59","date_gmt":"2010-09-09T13:01:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ceetar.com\/optimisticmetsfan\/?p=824"},"modified":"2010-09-08T23:35:32","modified_gmt":"2010-09-09T03:35:32","slug":"how-to-watch-the-final-22-mets-games","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.ceetar.com\/optimisticmetsfan\/2010\/09\/09\/how-to-watch-the-final-22-mets-games\/","title":{"rendered":"How to Watch the Final 22 Mets Games"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Baseball is by far my favorite sport.\u00a0 I could never see another day of any other sport and I wouldn\u2019t really miss it, but I\u2019m going through baseball withdrawal by Thanksgiving.\u00a0 So I\u2019ll be watching most of the next 22 Mets games, and even when I change the channel on Sunday\u2019s to the Giants, I\u2019ll probably flip back and forth to watch baseball.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"metssmooze\" src=\"http:\/\/lh5.ggpht.com\/_WiYnnqmj-NY\/TFFxT63kd_I\/AAAAAAAAJnA\/x7Q8a2RE36I\/s800\/IMG_1769.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"545\" height=\"408\" \/><\/p>\n<p>However, the games mean absolutely nothing and Jerry Manuel continues to do mind-numbingly stupid things with the roster, so how do I stay interested?\u00a0 I try to take each part of the game and watch it for the game, and the situation, at hand with no care or worry about what it means to the overall season.\u00a0 R.A.
