Congratulation to the Giants for winning the Super Bowl. I wonder, which team will next win a championship in New York? The Rangers will probably be a popular answer, and the Giants are certainly going to be riding a wave of optimism to repeat. The Nets aren’t technically eligible for a parade until 2013, but that’s really not that far away.
So what’s your pick?
yankees make the most sense (unfortunately), but i went with the jets here. for whatever reason, i think they’re next. of course, that line of thinking has given me fits of depression before (including the current wave i’m riding), but i do think they end up getting the job done in the next 2-3 years.
that said, i’ll take any of either mets/jets/islanders. come on, sports gods! i’m due!
I’m just worried it’ll be the Rangers.
